Twenty-Four Carrot has had the privilege of bringing joy with cards sold through bookstores, hospitals, art galleries, museums, gift shops, farm and garden centers, food markets, general stores, knitting shops, specialty shops, and sent to friends throughout the world. Even the envelopes bring a smile when received; colorfully decorated, each one comes with a specially designed window to show a little vignette on the back of the card, making sending the card that much more fun. These incredible cards are unlike any on the market. Like any good country song, they are about what really matters: life, love, and the human connection.

When you want to send some love, laughter, kindness, thanks, sympathy, compassion, congratulations, get well, wedding, birthday wishes, and so much more, you are likely to find your messenger among the Twenty Four Carrot collection.
Cards and envelopes are printed with soy inks on recycled paper with no elemental chlorine. Shipping bags are unbleached recycled kraft paper with high post-consumer content. Each Twenty Four Carrot card has a little story on the back from the artist's life, telling how the card came to be.

The creator of these cards is Jennifer Blomgren, a published children's book author, who has been bringing delight through her cards to hearts all over the world for almost 20 years. Raised by a mother who sang around the house, taught music, encouraged kids' dreams, and tolerated commotion and a father who built wonderful toys like playhouses, teeter totters, swing sets, and wooden horses for the whole neighborhood, her playful, artistic side was nurtured from an early age, aided and abetted by many books all over the house.
For years Jennifer supported her serious art habit with Registered Nursing, but was sidelined by an injury, after which she announced to her very supportive friends and family that art was her new career. With their love and help, and a grant from Washington State's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Twenty Four Carrot sprouted and bloomed from doodlings done on bed rest, to thirty-six boxes of printed cards on the dining room floor, to international distribution.

At The Fern Gallery, owned and operated by Jennifer's sister JoAnn, you can see the largest selection of Twenty-Four Carrot cards in the world. You can also purchase an autographed copy of Jennifer Blomgren's children's books, "Where Do I Sleep? A Pacific Northwest Lullaby," winner of the 2001 Pacific Northwest Booksellers' Award and finalist for the Washington State Book Award, and "Where Would I Be in an Evergreen Tree?" Both titles are sold at $15.99, and her young adult novel, illustrated by Jennifer, "The Tale of Alice's Quilt," which includes a pattern and instructions for a beautiful vintage butterfly quilt, is sold at $14.95.
